Davinder Ramsingh, MD, Director of Perioperative Ultrasound and Clinical Research, Department of Anesthesiology at Loma Linda Medical Center will discuss perioperative point-of-care ultrasound with a focus on airway management, and how point-of-care ultrasound can help facilitate the identification and localization of the endotracheal tube within the trachea. He will review background information on endotracheal intubation, define point-of-care ultrasound, and relate this information to case studies. He will also discuss the FORESIGHT examination.
